today i had the chance to testdrive a porsche boxster s … just one word: wow ๐
great sound, you can drive it like a go-cart and the acceleration rocks … but of course has to stop at 120km/h in switzerland anyway ๐

today i finally had the CISSP certification in my mailbox. so after passing the test, i obviously also passed the resume verification ๐

just want to leave a small note that i’m now on my way to san francisco.
i will have a lot of work to do this week, but i hope i will see a little bit of frisco ๐
oh and btw: internet in the plane definitley rocks ๐ it’s way cooler than watching boring movies … and you can prepare presentations for the next day if you were too lazy at home ๐
while sorting stuff in my home-office ("what? i still have that Windows 3.0 disks?") i found an old medion webcam.
i guess it was one of the first usb-webcams EVER … and perhaps it wasn’t too good for the lens that the cam was burried under some books and an audio-mixer for a year or so … after plugging it into my server it turns out that the image is quite unsharp ๐
nevertheless i decided to place it on the window sill and integrate it as "effreticam" (wordplay … effretikon is the town where i live) in my homepage.
although the picture is fuzzy and blurred, you can at least see what weather it is over here and if there’s still snow on the ground (like now :))
after quaestor pointed me to the globally recognized avatars, i decided to implement this also for the comments in this blog.
