Happy new year everyone!
People who complain about the number of Windows Updates after a fresh Windows installation apparently never ran "apt-get upgrade" on a fresh Ubuntu install…. zzzzzzzzOn the bright side: Installing a new Ubuntu 12.10 into a Hyper-V virtual machine is working flawlessly. I remember days when a lot of hackery was needed to get NICs working, etc … nope, just works without any tinkering. Good job Canonical!

Steam has "Bloodbowl: Legendary Edition" on sale for 4.99$ today! If you loved the Games Workshop tabletop game you should try out the videogame adaptation. Graphics are definitely not the greatest and some usability quirks annoy me but I still love the Blood Bowl gameplay … reminds me of a lot of good old times 🙂
Happy Holidays from the Android team. It has been a REALLY busy year so we'll rest a little bit over the holidays to release even more awesomeness next year!

XBMC beta 3 was released and finally it runs on Android 4.2 too. Means: Full LiveTV and DVR capabilities on my Nexus 10 in my +XBMC + NextPVR + HD Homerun Prime setup. Now just waiting for hardware acceleration support and I can slowly start thinking about decommissioning my Windows Media Center cablecard setup.
Second day in a row where it almost took 2 hours to get back home. I need to find a new job…
